Phill McChesney


Phill is a highly skilled New Zealand born and trained obstetrician, gynaecologist and fertility subspecialist. He has a particular interest in diagnosing and treating endometriosisis, both as it relates to pelvic pain and to infertility.

In addition to specialising as an obstetrician and gynaecologist, Phill has undertaken 3 years of advanced training in fertility, reproductive endocrinology and minimally invasive surgery. Thus, making him one of the few specialists in New Zealand to complete the Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI) subspecialist qualification.

Phill has extensive clinical experience in minimal access surgery, performing both laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures.  He prides himself on thorough investigation and individualised yet evidence based management.  He is down-to-earth and is renowned for his caring approach and bedside manner.

Phill consults out of Fertility Associates rooms in Auckland and Hamilton.
